What SEO is all about? There are many peoples still asking on this question. Based on the definition from different aspects and angles on SEO, it will more easy for us to know more deeper into SEO. Below shown the definition on SEO from all the online Giant companies:

After read up all the definitions of SEO, based on the points been bold i can summed up that:

" Search Engine Optimization(SEO) = Practices of improve the internal and external of website to increase traffic "

But none of the sites have really mention on what is the requirements and skills that actually needed to be a Search Engine Optimizer. Based on my experience the most requirement to be SEOr are: 

Search Habit + Patience

For whoever that would like to learn SEO, my first advise to them is to firstly Back to Basic, must study on what Search Engines is all about. Who is Google, Yahoo, Live.com, Ask.com and so many more. Must daily update on the latest news on search engines.

Besides the passionate on search engines. The basic skills and knowledge we must have is "web coding". The most basic web code we have to know should be "HTML". Due to the Web technologies had been growing rapidly, the web coding had change(innovate) to very creative way to present on web. It already transformed from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 and Web 3.0(Semantic Web) is on the way for it. So SEOr must also have to learn most of latest and newer web coding due to the technology fast growing.

So basic requirements to be SEOr will be:

• passionate on search
  
• patience
  
• non-stop learning attitude (basic of latest web coding)
  
• creative (design and optimization)
